Styleguide

For a new brand like Dozen, the style guide was our blueprint for consistency. It unified our visuals and voice across the app, social media, and marketing, making the brand instantly recognizable and trustworthy. It also streamlined collaboration, ensuring everyone from designers to influencers told the same story as we launched.

Design System

For Dozen’s app, a design system ensured consistency, efficiency, and scalability. It provided reusable components, clear interaction patterns, and defined styling, so developers and designers could move faster without sacrificing quality. This not only kept the user experience cohesive across every screen, but also made future updates and feature rollouts seamless. This system was built using Figma variables.

Buyer Side App

As a marketplace, Dozen had to function like two apps in one. One for buyers and one for sellers. On the buyer side, we focused on simplicity to let the homemade products shine. Clean layouts and quick-add features made browsing effortless and checkout seamless.

Seller Side App

The seller side of Dozen was a robust platform for listing products, managing orders, taking payments, and communicating with customers, all in one place. Sellers could also seamlessly switch between buyer and seller accounts, making it easy to both run their home bakery and shop from others.

Physical Marketing

Dozen leveraged physical marketing through eye-catching billboards and targeted direct mail, building local awareness and driving app downloads in key launch areas.

2025

Dozen

I joined Dozen at the concept stage and helped build the brand and product from the ground up. Working alongside a freelance UI/UX designer, an iOS developer and an android developer, I led the creation of the brand identity, including the visual design system, tone of voice, and overall aesthetic.

Together, we designed a cohesive app experience that felt personal, warm, and intuitive. In addition to the digital product, I designed supporting print materials and developed marketing assets across social, email, and ad campaigns to drive growth and engagement. These efforts resulted in over 54K App Store impressions and 4K downloads within a 3 month timespan.
